Prof. Shengjun Zhou

Shengjun Zhou received the Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2011. He is a Professor at Wuhan University. His current research interests lie in the areas of GaN-based LEDs, photonics and semiconductors, nanoimprint lithography and direct laser writing with applications in electronic and photonic devices. He is well known as an industrial technologist. Prior to joining Wuhan University, he was a CTO at Quantum Wafer Inc. from 2011 to 2014, focusing on the development of high brightness GaN-based LEDs. He was a research fellow at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, from 2014 to 2015. He received many academic awards including the National Youth Talent Support Program, IAAM Scientist Medal, Fellow of IAAM, Fellow of VEBLEO, IOP Publishing Outstanding Reviewer Award, IOP Publishing CHINA TOP CITED PAPER AWARD, distinguished Young Scholar of Hubei province, and Chutian Scholar of Hubei province. He has published more than 92 papers and holds over 36 patents. He is Co-chair of the Organizing Committee for IEEE ICEPT 2016 conference. He served as committee member for many conferences.
Prof. Kun Li

Dr. Kun Li is a Distinguished Professor of "Hongshen Young Scholars" and serves as a PhD supervisor for overseas talents. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Jilin University and obtained his Philosophy degree from Tsinghua University.. In February 2017, he went to the University of Texas at El Paso for postdoctoral research and served as Prof. Lawrence E. Murr (The pioneer in additive manufacturing in the US) and R.D.K. Misra's PhD student co-supervisor. The scientific research achievements won the University of Texas Researcher Award 2018. In April 2019, he served as a senior researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, University of Pittsburgh. In August 2020, he was hired as a "Hongshen Young Scholar" Distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor of Chongqing University, engaged in teaching and research work. Mainly engaged on additive manufacturing, intelligent 3D net forming, high-performance materials and phase change, and material computing. He has published more than 40 papers in famous journals and conferences such as "Additive Manufacturing", "Journal of Materials Science and Technology", "Materials Science and Engineering: A", and "Journal of Nuclear Materials". Served as the reviewer of famous journals in the fields of "Acta Materialia", "Materials Research Letters", "International Journal of Plasticity" and other fields.
Prof. Zhang Liang

Dr. Zhang Liang is a professor ofXiamen University of Technology, selected as "Minjiang Scholar" Distinguished Professor in Fujian Province, "Distinguished Researcher" in Henan Province, "Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader" of Jiangsu Province's "Qinglan Project" and "Six Talent Peaks Project" of Jiangsu Province's high-level talents. He has long been engaged in research on welding materials and technology, electronic packaging and interconnection, and solder joint reliability.He has been selected as one of the TOP2% Scientist in 2020-2022 (Stanford University's list of top 2% scientists out of 7 million scientists in the world). He has published more than 100 SCI papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, with the highest impact factor of 33.667, more than 2,000 SCI citations, and the H-factor of 31. He has been authorized 17 national invention patents, and has won 11 rewards above the provincial and departmental levels.

Fengming Du, Ph.D., associate professor, doctoral supervisor, postdoctoral fellow of Marine and Marine Engineering Mobile Station, mainly engaged in advanced material design, marine engines, and transportation engineering. He has won the titles of "Ten Million Talents Project" talents in Liaoning Province, "Dalian Youth Science and Technology Star", "Dalian High-level Talents - Young Talents", and one Liaoning Natural Science Academic Achievement Award. He has presided over one special sub-project of vehicle and ship power of the National Defense Bureau of Science and Industry, one key project of the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation, one joint project of the Liaoning Provincial Shipping Fund, one general project of the China Postdoctoral Fund, one project of the Dalian High-level Talent Innovation Support Program, two special funds for basic scientific research business expenses of the central university, and one horizontal project. He has participated in more than 10 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the pre-research project of the Ministry of Equipment Development, the project of the National Defense Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry, the high-tech ship project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the horizontal project. More than 60 academic papers have been published, and 1 invention patent has been authorized. He is senior member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, and the reviewer of Journal of Materials Processing Technology, The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Steel Research International, International Journal of Engine Research and other journals.
